Thoughts
In many of our hunting experiences, camouflage is very important. So many of the critters we pursue would be nearly impossible to harvest if we did not use camouflage to our benefit.
This is particularly true in turkey hunting. If you have not experienced turkey hunting, you are missing an amazing adventure. Due to the turkey's abilities, it is extremely important to have the proper camouflage.
We as Christians tend to use camouflage in our walk with Jesus. We put on cover scent in many forms so that people won't find out that we are Christians. We camouflage ourselves to look like the world so we don't stick out. The Bible tells us that we are not part of this world. I am not saying that we should run around in "blaze" orange Christianity either.
The most effective tool to show Jesus is our own life. I have had people with whom I worked or associated on a regular basis say to me, "There's something different about you. You're always smiling and upbeat. How do you do it?" This is a real easy chance for me to say, "Honestly I cannot do it without God's help" and opens the door for further discussion about my personal relationship with Christ.

Action Point
Don't be ashamed of your belief in Jesus. After all, Jesus died on the Cross for your benefit. He paid a debt He did not owe. I thank Him each day for paying that debt that I could never pay. He is such a good Friend to us. Let Him lead your life. Throw away that camouflage you've been wearing.
Sportsmen's Tip of the Day
Sportsmen love to dress their small children in camouflage. It is important to keep a very close eye on them when we dress them in camouflage and take them outside. At 20 feet away, a child can be completely hidden. Children who become lost in the woods are hard enough to find as it is. Let's keep a close eye on our kids every time we are outside with them, especially when they are sporting that cute camouflage outfit.
