Today's Photograph . . . . They Scream Out, "God Is Good!!!" (Jack M)
Bible Study Verses
Luke 12:27-28
"Consider how the wild flowers grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will He clothe you-you of little faith! (NIV)
Thoughts
The variety of the colors and designs were glorious. Many of our family were walking through the Pike Street Market in Seattle. What an amazing place. Yes, for those in the know, we saw them throw the fish, for which this market is famous worldwide.
But, the flowers that were available were dazzling! Their beauty was manifold; the variety amazing. It was as if each one has been given by God and grown by the gardener just for our enjoyment and for God's fame!

Action Point
Reflecting upon the scriptures above and the photograph, who can doubt the existence of a designer? Else why would such beauty and order exist? They scream out "God is good!!!"
Flowers are designed for beauty, for function, and for lessons. We have spoken to the beauty which we enjoy. The function of the flower is eventually to produce seed. This propagates the species, ensuring more flowers. Many blossoms result in food to eat and enjoy. Such produce nourishes people and animals. Nuts, vegetables, and fruits are made possible by the functional parts of the flower which enables reproduction.

The lessons to be learned are simple, yet profound. The obvious application is that God will provide for us. He, also, reminds us that life is fleeting, here today and gone tomorrow.
Do we trust God for our needs? The lesson focused here is that we are to trust, to have faith in God that He will clothe us and provide our needs. He, also, gives us things to enjoy.
Pray, "Thank you Lord for everything that we so richly enjoy. Thank you for providing the necessities and the pleasures of life."
