Galations 2:20
I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself up for me. (NASB)
Thoughts
The never-ending question that has been around since Satan tempted Eve is: Who is in charge? When you see a nice brown trout swimming freely in a clear back eddy along a pristine mountain stream, he is in charge of his domain.
You skillfully cast just the right fly into the back eddy; he socks it with a ferocious appetite--then you are in charge. You catch the fish, bring it in on the bank, and put it on a stringer to be cooked later for your pleasure. You're still in charge.
In whose domain are you, right now? Who or what is in charge of your life? You may not know it, but if you are a Christian, you have been crucified with Christ. He is in charge; life is not about you or your ego anymore.

Action Point
Live as if Jesus were really in charge of your life, because He is!!!
It is when we contradict this truth that our lives get muddled and twisted. Read the above verse again. It doesn't say anything about us calling all the shots.

Sportsmen's Tip of the Day
When fishing along a larger stream or small river, look for those nice little back eddies and cast along the edge of the main flow in the calmer part where the water is moving slower. You just might be rewarded with a nice tug on your line.
