Thoughts

Blessed is right. Anytime you can learn something new, it's a good day! I have said that a lot especially when I'm in the field. 

You are never too old to gain insight on anything. Anything you learn or come to have better understanding of can not only benefit you, but others as well.

Action Point

Especially when you are with a younger hunter or fisherman, make it a point to pass on a tip, a word of encouragement. Make the outing not only entertaining but informative as well. 

The young outdoorsman will take away more from that day than both of you may see at that time.

Sportsmen's Tip of the Day

Fish will tell you how they want a certain lure. How you present the lure, including depth, retrieve speed and imparted action are all important when trying to get a bite. Remember it takes two things for a fish to strike, attraction and triggering. One cannot happen without the other and both have to occur for you to get a bite.
