Bible Study Verses
Zechariah 7:11-12
"But they refused to pay attention; stubbornly they turned their backs and covered their ears. They made their hearts as hard as flint and would not listen to the law or to the words that the Lord Almighty had sent by His Spirit through the earlier prophets. So the Lord Almighty was very angry. (NIV)
Thoughts Animal communication is fascinating . . .
The turkey gobbles:
- For a mating call.
- If alarmed by the sound of an owl.
- Yelp for gathering.
- Cluck to assemble or to alarm the chicks or other hens.
- Purring when they are content.
The elk bugles:
- To call cows.
- To challenge another bull.
A cow elk uses:
- A mew to call other cows or calves.
- A bark or a stomp are warning calls.
It is critical for animals to hear and respond to the communication.

Action Point God uses His Word and situations in our lives to communicate with us. We must hear and respond to His communication.
Study the Word and live by it. It is critical to our walk and to our relationship with God.
Sportsmen's Tip of the Day
When elk hunting, be at your hunting location prior to daylight. Don't spend daylight hours walking through the woods. You could push them out of the area.
