Thoughts 

Have you ever been around the hunter who knows everything, seen everything, and has done everything? There are hunters who are serious, have accomplished much, and have done it with a humble heart. Then there is the guy who talks more than he should and is boastful about what little he truly has done.

  

Hunter's opinions vary depending on who is talking. Hunting is filled with many variables and the conditions are always changing, including the techniques offered up by the most recent of hunting magazines. There are many ways to bag a trophy animal. Some work and others don't.

Action Point

In contrast, Jesus says there is only one way to get to Heaven through a personal relationship with Him.

In this day and age, there are many people who believe in pluralism (multiple ways to get to Heaven). But, the Bible is very clear that no one can come to the Father, except through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Read the Gospel of John for a better understanding. 

Sportsmen's Tip of the Day 

Many outdoorsmen take advantage of God's creation during the winter months. Be careful to avoid frozen rivers and ponds. If you find yourself falling into icy cold water, resist, and take violent action immediately upon hitting the water. Swim to shore and then roll in the snow to absorb the water. Find shelter or get into a dry kit as soon as possible (Adapted from John Wiseman's, SAS Survival Handbook).
