Today's Photograph . . . . Without It You're All Wet (Ron T) |
Bible Study Verse
Isaiah 61:3
And provide for those who grieve in Zion-to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor.
(NIV)
Thoughts
Have you ever been out
on a horse ride and a thunderstorm rolled in unexpectantly and you
didn't have your rain slicker along? That might have happened to me
once, but never again. Now I always have a slicker tied to the back of
my saddle. I never leave home without it.
The same goes for
boating, fishing, hunting, backpacking or any outdoor activity. It's a
"must have" garment. Without it you're all wet.

Action Point
Always, always keep your garment of praise tied to you. Never leave home without it, no matter what you're doing or where you're going.
Always, always keep your garment of praise tied to you. Never leave home without it, no matter what you're doing or where you're going.
Here is a surefire way to please the Lord: "Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise-the fruit of lips that openly profess his name," Hebrews 13:15 (NIV).
To really get you in the praising spirit, read the book of Psalm, there is a bunch of praising going on there.
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!!!
Sportsmen's Tip of the Day
Toss a couple light weight ponchos in your survival pack to have on hand in an emergency. If
you don't have a poncho add a couple large heavy duty trash bags with arm holes and a head hole cut out.
