Thoughts

I love getting gift cards as gifts, especially if they are to one of my favorite sporting good stores. You shop around until you find that one special item that you just have to have, you go to the checkout stand and the clerk rings it up and says "that will be $$$$." You just smile and say,

"I have a gift card for that."

How cool is that! The card is a free gift to you and someone else has already paid the price.

Sportsmen's Tip of the Day

Make a simple camping stove by cutting a chunk of log about 16 inches long and 9 inches in diameter. Make 4 cuts from the top, down about ¾ the length of the log. Stuff all the cuts with news paper leaving some hang out the bottom to light. The log will burn from the inside out and should give you plenty of cooking time to make your favorite gourmet camping meal.
