Today's Photograph . . . . And Even Some Silly Signs (Ron T) |
Bible Study Verses
Deuteronomy 11:18-20
Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Teach
them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when
you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates. (NIV)
Thoughts
I
work for a state agency and, man, do we like our signs!!! We put up
signs for everything, signs that tell you what to do, signs that tell
you what not to do, signs for safety, signs to help protect the
resource, big signs, little signs, square signs, round signs, bright
signs, dull signs, and even some silly signs.

Action Point
Do you want your days and the days of your children to be multiplied? (Deuteronomy 11:21)
Put up some signs.... a verse you want to learn on a sticky note on your dresser, a favorite Bible verse on your refrigerator.
Put the signs in places you will read them, first thing in the morning, last thing before you fall asleep.
Learn them, teach them, and LIVE them!!!
Sportsmen's Tip of the Day
When
you're playing in the outdoors, hiking, biking, or whatever, let the
slowest person in your party set the pace. And remember to stay
together, especially if there are children along.
