Thoughts 

Too many times when we get involved in an outdoor activity we feel the need to have the latest accessories, clothing and top-notch equipment. Somehow we convince ourselves that we must have this particular item or gadget in order to be successful. 

I've shot deer in casual dress and I've fished with hotdogs and even pulled in a few whoppers. I've also done both with all of the gear of the professionals.

Action Point

Hunting, fishing, and outdoor activities are not about the gear or fancy equipment. It's about the hunt and it's about the time spent with your fishing partner or your group of friends.

God wants our daily lives to be about the heart. It is not about the "bling" or other earthly fads that quickly fade away. He wants us to put our faith and trust in Him. He takes care of the birds and the flowers, how much more does He care about us? He will provide, protect and sustain. 

He knows that LIFE is more than the things of this world; He just wants us to know it too. Be smart with your money and time, your family will love you for it.

Sportsmen's Tip of The Day

Just for fun, the next time you have a big hunt or fishing expedition go simple. Be creative and have some fun with it. Who knows, you may even stumble onto the next "must have secret."
