Today's Photograph . . . . Good Spot For Trout (MQ)
Bible Study Verses
Revelations 22:1-2
And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. (NKJV)

Thoughts
This scene in these verses is reminiscent of trout streams, crystal clear, flowing along over gravel shoals, forming small pools here and there, and quiet, nothing but the gentle noise of the rippling of the flowing water. Trees line the banks drawing sustenance from the life-giving water. Fish draw nourishment from other stream life that flows by them.

Action Point
Our lives are like the trees lining its banks and the fish living in the gentle flowing stream of God's love. We draw our life from Him.

Use the life-giving water of our Lord, free for the asking. Grow and produce fruit. Lead others to this wonderful stream.

Sportsmen's Tip of the Day
When fishing a moving stream, whether it's a trout stream or catfish river, fish the quiet pools or eddies. The fish lie in these areas, waiting for a tempting morsel as it swims by.
