Today's Photograph . . . . But When They Were United They Never Skipped A Beat   (Tom H)
Bible Study Verse
Luke 15:20
So he got up and went to his father. But while the son was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion. He ran, threw his arms around his neck, and kissed him. (HCSB)

Thoughts
Back in August 2012 this past year I received a great blessing. My oldest brother initiated a fishing trip to Rocky Mountain National Park.

There were 3 of us brothers who converged from vast parts the United States. We all took some time off work, invested money for plane tickets, and with some planning we pulled it off.

The rewards were way worth it! It was a great time of catching some nice brook trout and an occasional brown. We kept some and cooked them right by the stream; almost a storybook setting.

My point is to encourage you keep the higher valued things first. Just a friendly reminder how important family is, no matter how far you are a part. The prodigal son was far away from his father, but when they were united they never skipped a beat.

Action Point
Plan a trip with your brothers or sisters or any special people in your life this summer or fall and see how God will bless. Don't bring any agenda, just have fun!!!

Sportsmen's Tip of the Day
If you are fishing by some pristine waters bring some cooking oil, cracker meal , a small cook stove with a fry pan, and a fillet knife so you can cook up the trout right by the stream. They always taste better freshly caught!!!!
