Bible Study Verse
Psalms 94:18
When I said, "My foot is slipping," your unfailing love, Lord, supported me. (NIV)
Thoughts
In our lives as a hunters or fishermen, we sometimes may start our trip or day off on the "wrong foot." We get so excited about the excursion that we forget to thoroughly prepare. When that unpreparedness hits us, we can lose our footing and never regain our balance. It can throw off the whole trip.

This can also occur on a daily basis - we get up, start our day off wrong; and then "limp" around the rest of the day.

Action Point
Start every day as the God-given gift that it is. Do not get angry. Do not get hurried. Do not get defensive. Keep your feet firmly planted in God's Word, and you will lessen the chances of having a bad day.

Sportsmen's Tip of the Day
When walking up steep hills, try not to walk directly up the hill; but instead, try to zigzag up the hill. It will take about the same amount of time, and you will feel less tired. Stay at an even pace and do not walk on your toes. Try to keep your feet flat in order to keep your balance.
