Thoughts
Gallup poll just before the attack on Pearl Harbor flaunted that 52% of Americans expected war with Japan, 27% did not expect war, and as always the fence straddlers consisting of 21% had no opinion.

Doris Miller was collecting laundry when the battle commenced. He found his battle station destroyed by torpedoes. His description of his actions was interesting, 1 "It wasn't hard. I just pulled the trigger and she worked fine. I had watched the others with these guns. I guess I fired her for about fifteen minutes. I think I got one of those Jap planes. They were diving pretty close to us." He shot a 50 caliber Browning anti-aircraft machine gun until the ammo ran out and he was ordered to abandon his ship.

Please pray and support our troops. They need to know they are not forgotten while they protect our freedoms and each of us can touch one family. God bless each of you.
