Today's Photograph . . . . Are You Laying Down Your Life For Your Friends   (MQ)
Bible Study Verse
John 15:13
Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. (NIV)
Thoughts
It seems that those who share this love for the outdoors have an incredible bond. When someone begins to share with me about his or her last hunting trip or camping excursion, we have this immediate relationship through the outdoors.
Some of these are men that very may put me in the ground one day. They may share our experiences together on a hunt, a bay fishing trip, or trying to trick an ole Tom within shotgun range at my own funeral one day!
We know that Jesus developed these deeper relationships with not only His disciples, but with those he came into contact with at the market, at the drinking well, alongside the road, and even at "sinners" homes.
Are you laying down your life for your friends?

Action Point
What do you accomplish at camp? Are you intentional about your faith in Christ at camp or do you leave it at the church house?
Next time you find yourself sitting around the campfire or playing cards on your next outing, ask those around you for some prayer requests. Then be bold, stop, and take the time to pray for those with you and what they had the courage to share. Prayer is one of our strongest weapons.
Sportsmen's Tip of the Day
Keep bottled water in your vehicle! You never know when you may need it if you break down, overheat, or someone just gets thirsty.
